Bowring Park Yoga

Move and breathe with us in nature at the beautiful Bowring Park! Classes will run throughout the summer until the weather is prohibitive to do so. Class offerings may vary week to week based on weather, instructor availability, and student interest. We will be testing out different timeslots over the first few weeks of classes to get an idea of interest and demand.

We will meet on the hill to the right of the main entrance, in front of the chain-link fence for the lawn bowling area. You can either park in the main lot and enter through the main entrance. Or park on one of the side streets next to the hill.

Please bring your yoga mat, water, and sunscreen. Classes will be prop minimal but if you have props you enjoy using such as blankets, blocks, or strap please bring them. For our Mom & Baby classes, please bring an extra blanket for baby to play on as well as any toys they enjoy.

Registration must be done online below prior to attending class. Money exchange for services is prohibited on the park premises. We will not be accepting walk-ons at the park without previous registration.

If we have to cancel due to weather we will send you an email no later than 2 hours before your class. You can reschedule your class for another day.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Participants must space their mats a minimum of 6 feet apart in all directions and maintain physical distancing upon arriving and leaving the practice space. Pre-registration is also required for contact tracing.

  • You can register by either purchasing an 8- or 4- class park pass or dropping in.
  • Embody Members receive 10% off so don’t forget your coupon codes (we cannot retroactively refund if you forget to input your code).

  • If you don’t get through your pass by the end of the park yoga season, you can use the pass as credit towards Embody studio classes or merchandise.

  • Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable to others. However unused park passes can be credited towards Embody studio classes or merchandise.
  • You can reschedule up to an hour before prior to your booking.

Class Schedule

Park Yoga – A class for active beginner and continuing students who are comfortable with getting up from the ground to standing unsupported.

Mom & Baby Yoga – For moms who are at least 6-weeks postpartum and cleared from the primary care provider for physical activity and babies who aren’t mobile enough to quickly move away from mom 🙂
