Parent & Child Yoga (Ages 4-6)

Families are often busy with extracurriculars, birthday parties and day to day activities. Yoga is a perfect way to pause the busyness, and to spend healthy, happy, quality time together.
This class is an opportunity for children and parents to relax and enjoy each other, to have fun and feel empowered in their bodies and minds in a playful and approachable atmosphere.
We will explore partner poses, creative yoga games, music, and stories while building confidence and self esteem.
We will also practice breathing techniques to add to your child’s coping toolkit that can help them self regulate while navigating life’s ups and downs.
Families will take away strategies that they can use at home to calm the body and mind, and connect at a deeper level to themselves – and each other.
This is a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to connect to their minds and body, and to each other in a playful, loving way!
No previous yoga experience is necessary.
This class is designed for a parent/guardian/caregiver and with their little yogi aged 4-6. Come “play” yoga with us!
Cathy is a former educator and a certified yoga teacher in Hatha and Restorative yoga. She has received Yoga in Schools training as well as Children’s Yoga Teacher training.
Since 2018 , Cathy has helped facilitate a program, Coping Skills for Kids, and developed a curriculum called Young Yoga and Wellness. Learn more about Cathy here.

Kid's Yoga (Ages 7-12)

In this program, your child will be guided through a series of movements and breath work that will help deepen their self exploration, encouraging self love and acceptance.
This fun and interactive yoga program is designed to help children:
- Reduce their anxiety
- Calm their minds and bodies
- Improve their sense of well being
This yoga series will help to empower a child’s imagination, mindful senses, breath, gratitude and encourage kindness and self compassion in a safe caring environment.
