Val has been teaching yoga for a few years now, a natural evolution after 20 + years as a dedicated practitioner. She especially loves sharing ways that yoga can help students with their physical and mental well being. Val loves using props like blocks, blankets, belts, balls and much more to enhance students’ experiences. She highlights poses and movements to encourage alignment, build strength, enhance flexibility, improve balance and reduce body aches and pains. In every class she strives to help students feel better when they leave than when they arrived, and to recognize and celebrate the cumulative effects of practice over time. Val holds a 200 hour Teaching Certificate and has attended numerous advanced training courses over the years.
