Megan Morgan, Studio Manager
Megan is a yoga teacher, fur kid Mom, wife, knitter, engineer and a lover of the outdoors! Her journey into yoga started in 2010 when she injured her back and realized that she needed to start taking better care of herself. She took in a few private classes with her husband and then ventured into a Hatha yoga class. It was scary those first few times, feeling very uncoordinated, and inflexible, but she loved the way it made her feel and she was hooked! Later in 2010, she moved to Texas where she was able to devote more time to her practice, feeling steady and strong through a vinyasa class, calm in a gentle or restorative class and focused in a yin class.
After moving back to St. John’s in 2013, she didn’t think she could go back to engineering and decided to apply to the 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training with Meaghan Burridge and Bobby Bessey. She completed the program in 2014. She is also trained in Chair Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga for All with Amber Karnes and Dianne Bondy, Yoga 4 Cancer with Tari Prinster. She teaches in an accessible way that works for the student regardless of injury, condition(s), size, fitness level, age, or perceived ability. She feels truly blessed to do what she loves and hopes to help you find balance on and off your mat!
